1. Zero-Tracking & On-Device Weight Calculation Architecture

CDL Nav is designed for commercial CDL drivers, owner-operators, and fleet safety directors. All 50-state Federal Bridge Formula B (23 CFR § 658.17) axle calculations, kingpin-to-rear-axle checks, and 49 CFR FMCSA CSA severity lookups run deterministically without selling, sharing, or brokering personal data to third-party advertisers.

2. Information We Collect

• Scale Ticket & Axle Telemetry Inputs: Steer, drive, and trailer tandem weights entered into the calculator are processed solely to generate your weight clearance verdict and PDF certificate.
• Optional Account & Subscription Data: If you create a CDL Nav Pro account or subscribe via Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit 2), Apple processes your payment directly. We store only your email/Apple ID identifier and subscription entitlement status in Supabase Cloud.
• No Continuous Background GPS Tracking: CDL Nav & The Highway Atlas do not track your real-time GPS location in the background or report scale inputs to any enforcement agency.

3. In-App Account Deletion (Apple Guideline 5.1.1(v))

Users who create an account in CDL Nav can permanently delete their account and erase all saved scale certificates and DataQs drafts at any time directly inside the app by tapping ★ Pro → Delete Account (5.1.1v), or by emailing support@cdlnav.com.

4. Public Domain Statutory Citations

All federal and state statutory thresholds referenced in CDL Nav are synthesized from public-domain U.S. government edicts of law (23 U.S.C. § 127, 23 CFR Part 658, and 49 CFR Parts 390–399).
